Continuation Education: Finding the Facts

Continuation Schools are not effective.  They offer a second-class education.  There are an insignificant number of students served in these schools.  Continuation Schools are expensive to operate.  They are dangerous and lower property values.  All students in Continuation Schools are bad!  The schools give away credits and the teachers only work part time.  These and other myths are dispelled in the new CCEA publication, Continuation Education: Finding the Facts

If you would like to order one of these books, the cost is $10.00 + $1.75 shipping for individual copies.  If you would like to order multiple copies, check the order form for the shipping and handling rate.

You will not want to be without a copy of this informational guide to operating a successful and effective Continuation School.  Included are the answers to the myths stated above, a question and answer section with references to the appropriate sections of the California Education Code, and the quality criteria required for recognition as a Model Continuation High School.  If you wish to examine a copy of the book, see your District or County Superintendent.  Each one has received a copy of this book and many have ordered multiple copies for other district/county personnel.
